1. Who we are

Lumen is an AI voice and meeting capture service. For any privacy question or request, contact us at utahinspired@hotmail.com.

2. Information we collect

• Account data: email address, name and authentication identifiers.
• Recording data: temporary audio uploaded for transcription, plus the resulting transcript, summary, action items and mind map.
• Usage data: minutes transcribed, plan tier and billing period.
• Payment data: handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details.

3. Audio handling

Audio you record is uploaded to a private processing bucket, transcribed, and the server copy is permanently deleted as soon as processing finishes. The original file stays on your device.

4. How we use your data

We use your data to provide transcription and summarization, maintain your account, enforce plan limits, process payments, prevent abuse and provide support. We do not sell your data or use your recordings to train third-party models.

5. Service providers

We rely on a small number of processors: Supabase (database, auth, storage), OpenAI (transcription and summarization), Stripe (payments) and Microsoft Outlook (support email). Each processes data only to deliver the service.

6. Retention

Notes and transcripts are stored until you delete them or close your account. Deleting your account removes your notes, tasks and profile. Billing records are kept as long as required by law.

7. Your rights

You may request access, correction, export or deletion of your data, and you may object to certain processing. Email utahinspired@hotmail.com and we will respond within 30 days.

8. Security

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, access is scoped per account with row-level security, and processing audio is stored in a private bucket for the duration of a single job.

9. Children

Lumen is not intended for anyone under 16 years of age.

We will post any changes to this policy on this page and update the date above.
