1. Agreement

By creating a Lumen account or using the service you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use Lumen. Questions: utahinspired@hotmail.com.

2. The service

Lumen records audio you capture, transcribes it, and generates summaries, action items and mind maps. AI output can contain errors; you are responsible for reviewing it before relying on it.

3. Plans and pricing

• Lumen Free: 90 transcription minutes per month, no charge.
• Lumen Pro: $19.00 USD per month, 1,500 transcription minutes per month.
• Minute packs (one-time): 500 minutes $6, 1,000 minutes $10, 2,000 minutes $18.

Prices are in US dollars and exclude any applicable taxes. Monthly allowances reset at the start of each billing period and do not roll over; purchased minute packs do not expire while your account is active.

4. Billing and renewal

Payments are processed by Stripe. Pro subscriptions renew automatically each month until cancelled. You authorise recurring charges to your payment method until you cancel. You can cancel any time from Settings → Manage billing; access continues until the end of the paid period.

5. Refunds

If Lumen does not work as described, email us within 14 days of the charge and we will review a refund for the unused portion. Minute packs are refundable only if the minutes are unused. Contact utahinspired@hotmail.com.

6. Acceptable use

You must have the legal right and any required consent to record the conversations you upload, and you must comply with recording laws in your jurisdiction. Do not use Lumen for unlawful, harassing, infringing or abusive content, or attempt to disrupt the service.

7. Your content

You own your recordings, transcripts and notes. You grant us the limited licence needed to process and store them so we can deliver the service.

8. Availability and liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

9. Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms or create risk for the service.

10. Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be posted here with a new date. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
